Great News - We Hit Our Fun Run Goal!
We have officially surpassed our school goal of $35,000 with 6 more days to go!! Thank you for all your efforts and support to make the 2024 Coyote Fun Run such a success!! Let's keep the momentum going as we push toward our over the top goal of $45,000!
By hitting our school goal, students will have the opportunity to vote on which silly costume Mrs. Balic will wear for an entire school day! If we reach our over-the-top goal of $45,000, Cowan staff will go head to head in an epic game of musical chairs. The last person standing will earn sweet victory and avoid a pie in the face. Let's work together to make it happen!

Screen Free Challenge Weekend
Screen-free challenge! Mrs. Sanders is challenging all of our Cowan Coyotes to spend at least one full day (24 hours) without screens. This means no TV, video games, iPads, phones, or smartwatches. We want to encourage our students to read, be creative, play outdoors, cook with a family member, or go play sports instead of sitting and watching screens. All students who complete the challenge should bring a note to the front office on October 15 or 16 with their name, grade level, and parent/guardian signature that they completed the screen-free challenge. They will enter their name in a drawing to win a prize with Mrs. Sanders. Everyone who completes the challenge will have their name read on the announcements!
Attendance Rate - 94.67%
Our campus goal is to reach and maintain an attendance rate of 96% or better. We dropped a little over the last two weeks. Please take this weekend to rest and get healthy so that we can begin to regain a higher attendance percentage.
